Adult Learn to Play Programs

The Hockey Finder adult learn to play hockey instructional program is designed both for adults with very little to no previous organized hockey experience and those looking to improve their game. The intent of this program is for players to learn and practice hockey and get prepared to play in the Hockey Finder Coed Adult League. Run four times per year (Jan-March, April-June, July-Sept, and Oct-Dec), the program takes participants through the basic skills of hockey and introduces players to the concepts of team play.

Our engaging sessions are designed to improve required skills in skating, passing, shooting, and positioning.

You'll focus on:

  • Skating skills, including stopping and edge work
  • Passing techniques
  • Shooting accuracy
  • Stickhandling
  • Positional play

Each session concludes with a friendly scrimmage, offering you the chance to showcase your skills and bond with teammates. If you're new to hockey, our program delivers personalized instruction and tailored drills to inspire you on your journey to joining our vibrant adult hockey league!
