Hockey Finder Brings Adult Recreational Hockey League to Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — Hockey Finder, a Twin Cities-based adult recreational hockey organization known for its fun-friendly-social approach to the game, is expanding to Eau Claire with the launch of a new coed intermediate division this spring.

The Eau Claire Thursday Division will begin play on May 28th at Hobbs Municipal Ice Arena, offering adult hockey players of all backgrounds a welcoming, competitive-but-casual environment to get on the ice and grow their game. Hockey Finder's model emphasizes accessibility and community — no prior league experience required, just a love of hockey.

"We've built Hockey Finder around the idea that hockey should be fun, friendly, and social — at every level," said Don Giroux, Founder of Hockey Finder. "Eau Claire has a passionate hockey community and we couldn't be more excited to be a part of it."

Hockey Finder currently operates divisions across the Twin Cities and is expanding into new markets in 2026. The Eau Claire division joins a growing network of players who skate weekly in a structured league format, with referees, team rosters, and a full season schedule.

Before the season kicks off, Hockey Finder will be hosting a preview pickup skate open to all interested players this Thursday, April 24th at 7:15 PM at Hobbs Ice Center. It's a no-commitment way to meet the group, get on the ice, and see what Hockey Finder is all about.
