GMA hosts youth hockey tournaments at the Jay Peak Resort Ice Haus for more than 25 weekends of the year. We offer Fall/Winter tournaments from 10U-14U, AAA (Tier 1) to B (Tier 4). Spring tournaments we offer 8U-19U.

Jay Peak has an indoor waterpark, movie theatre, arcade, skiing/snowboarding, hiking, championship golf course, restaurants and shopping!

Welcome to the Columbus Day Shoot-Out!

Please join us for the 9th Annual Columbus Day Shoot-Out tournament on October 11 - 14, 2024. Last year’s tournament sold out so register your team early, so you are not left out. The tournament will be open to AA/AAA (Tier 1) teams at the 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010 divisions. We are currently sending out applications all over the US and Canada.  Acceptance will be on a first come first serve basis.  Please do not hesitate, as this tournament will fill up fast. 

GAMES:

All teams are guaranteed four games.  All divisions will include a championship game. The length of periods will be 3—12 minute periods.

SCHEDULING:

All teams are instructed to visit the tournament website for schedules. Schedules will be posted about 10 days before the start of the tournament on the website. Every reasonable attempt will be made to accommodate scheduling requests if requests are made when registering your team.

AWARDS:

Individual trophies will be awarded to championship and runner up teams at all levels. MVP award at each level in the championship game. Team awards for championship and Runner-up organizations.

Lysander Youth Hockey Association is excited to announce our 1st Annual Halloween Havoc Tournament! USA Hockey Sanctioned Event!

The 1st Annual Halloween Havoc will be held from October 25 - 27th at the Three Rivers Athletic Complex in Baldwinsville, NY. There will be Travel and House divisions for the 16U and 18U (4 game minimum). There are slots for 8+ teams per division.

The entry fee is $1200 per team. This is not a stay to play, but there are many options for hotels within 15 minutes of the rink.

Tournament medals awarded for 1st and 2nd place, and banners for the champions. Player of the Game treat bags for each game.

If the Syracuse Crunch hockey team is playing in Syracuse that weekend. We can help set up tickets for a team outing to the game. There is a small hockey store on site for skate sharpening. I would like to invite your team to the 25th Annual Black Cat Classic tournament on October 25 - 27, 2024. Last year’s tournament sold out so register your team early, so you are not left out. The tournament will be open to A (Tier 2) teams at the Mite, Squirt, Peewee and Bantam divisions. We are currently sending out applications all over the US and Canada.  Acceptance will be on a first come first serve basis.  Please do not hesitate, as this tournament will fill up fast. 

GAMES:

All teams are guaranteed three games.  All divisions will include a championship game. The length of periods will be 3—12 minute periods.

SCHEDULING:

All teams are instructed to visit the tournament website for schedules. Schedules will be posted about 10 days before the start of the tournament on the website. Every reasonable attempt will be made to accommodate scheduling requests if requests are made when registering your team.

AWARDS:

Individual trophies will be awarded to championship and runner up teams at all levels. MVP award at each level in the championship game. Team awards for championship and Runner-up organizations.

TOURNAMENT FEE:

Tournament fee is $1150 per team.

Arena: Hyde Park Ice Pavilion

Niagara Sport Tournaments provides consistent, competitive hockey tournaments. We are travel hockey parents ourselves, and use that knowledge to provide a great experience for ALL family members. To provide the most balanced divisions we use myhockeyranking as a starting point then communicate with each coach/manager to get more information about the team. HOTELS ARE 10-15   MINUTES AWAY FROM THE RINKS!! We can not stand having to drive 45 minutes from your hotel to get to each rink. Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Detroit all have this problem. Most of our hotels are in Downtown Niagara Falls, which is 5-10 minutes away from Hyde Park. At Niagara Sport Tournaments we operate the Hyde Park Ice Pavilion where 85% of all game are played! This gives us great flexibility and allow us to provide a great tournament.

The NRI Vikings will be once again hosting our annual Thanksgiving Tournament in 2024.  The tournament will be held across 2 rinks; Smithfield Municipal Ice Rink, 109 Pleasant View Avenue, Smithfield, RI, and June Rockwell Levy Ice Rink in Burrillville, from Friday, November 29th, through Sunday, December 1st. 

Games will start as early as 7 a.m. on November 29th.

Lysander's Annual Thanksgiving Hockey Classic will be held in November at the Three Rivers Athletic Complex in Baldwinsville, NY. There will be House and Travel divisions for the 12U level, A, B, C and Travel (4 game minimum) and for the 14U level, A, B, C and Travel(4 game minimum). There are slots for 6 teams per division.

Tournament medals awarded for 1st and 2nd place, and banners for the champions. Player of the Game award for each game.

Arena: Compton Family Ice Arena

Join us for great hockey and a rewarding experience at the University Of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana!  The new Compton Family Ice Center is a 55 million dollar facility featuring 2 ice surfaces and state of the art amenities. In addition to a great arena facility, a visit to the University Of Notre Dame imparts a very positive message to youth hockey players and their siblings. Campus tours by student guides well versed in the culture and traditions of the university are available and are strongly recommended. Some of the favorite tour destinations are the The Golden Dome, The Notre Dame Football Stadium, The Guglielmino Athletic Complex, The Eck Visitors Center and the magnificent 14 story Hesburgh Library with its famous 132 x 65 mural. Last year over 300 teams attended Hockey Time events at the University Of Notre Dame. Come visit, play and experience the great academic and athletic culture at the University Of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana!  Please note that games are played at the Compton Family Ice Center along with other local arenas.  Teams are guaranteed at least 1 game at the Compton facility when the Notre Dame Men's hockey team has home games.
