Division Selection Process:

• ONLY (2) AAA upper birth year players allowed per team to remain in desired GOLD division
• Teams with (3) or more AAA players will be moved up ONE whole birth year to the next GOLD division
• Split squad birth years are allowed (Please let us know the configuration of your team)
• During registration, please indicate your oldest player range birth year.

Division sizing/placement begins 4-6 weeks before each event. Your final division placement may vary from your original selection according to available/historical game data.

The Youth Summer Classic is a summer tournament which players sign up for individually. We will place players on teams and each team will be as equal as possible based on the information collected for each player. Each team will consist of 4-6 defenseman, 6-9 forwards, and 1-2 goalies. Team rosters will be posted at least one week before the tournament.

All teams will be guaranteed 3 games.

Arena: Tri-Town Ice Arena

I would like to invite your team to the 25th Annual Black Cat Classic tournament on October 25 - 27, 2024. Last year’s tournament sold out so register your team early, so you are not left out. The tournament will be open to A (Tier 2) teams at the Mite, Squirt, Peewee and Bantam divisions. We are currently sending out applications all over the US and Canada.  Acceptance will be on a first come first serve basis.  Please do not hesitate, as this tournament will fill up fast. 

GAMES:

All teams are guaranteed three games.  All divisions will include a championship game. The length of periods will be 3—12 minute periods.

SCHEDULING:

All teams are instructed to visit the tournament website for schedules. Schedules will be posted about 10 days before the start of the tournament on the website. Every reasonable attempt will be made to accommodate scheduling requests if requests are made when registering your team.

AWARDS:

Individual trophies will be awarded to championship and runner up teams at all levels. MVP award at each level in the championship game. Team awards for championship and Runner-up organizations.

    Arrive early or stay later & WATCH the Utica Comets (AHL Affiliate New Jersey Devils) team play @ The Adirondack Bank Center Thursday Oct 10th or Saturday Oct 12th. AHL Schedule available end of June 2024
