      Sunny Yee Hockey Finder Scholarship

Honoring a Legacy of Love for the Game

The Sunny Yee Hockey Finder Scholarship Fund is named in memory of Sunny Yee, the beloved wife of co-founder Derrik Dyka. As a supportive spouse and dedicated "hockey mom" to their sons, Gavin and Griffin, Sunny's love for the hockey community ran deep. She left us in July after a courageous battle with cancer, but her legacy lives on through this scholarship.

      Who Can Apply

Open to college students of families playing in any Hockey Finder division or leagues. Applications will be accepted at pre-determined times throughout the year. Applications open May 1, 2024. Apply through the Erickson Merkel Foundation at

      Trustworthy Management

      Special Thanks

Kudos to Eric Jungels and Dan Norgard for their essential roles in bringing this to fruition. The more we raise, the more students we can help.
