Pickup Hockey Notice

This is 2 hour instructional clinic for players looking to work on their game. Jessie Rudin, current coach at Drake, will lead the practice -1) 20-30mins skating drills with the full group. Emphasis during the first session on edge basics and building towards tighter turns. 2) 30-40 mins of skill based drills with the full group. First session can focus on: Puck handling, passing and moving, receiving passes. 3) 30-40 mins of small group stuff. Here we can split the group based on skill. Lower level can continue to focus on skill building. Higher skill can shift to more strategy-based training or more advanced skill building. 4) remaining time - scrimmage. People can stay as short/long as they like. Teams split based on jersey color and skill level.
