Welcome! You’ve signed up for your first season with Hockey Finder. Here’s what happens next and what you can expect.

Your Next Steps

Since you're new to Hockey Finder, we ask you to complete our Skills Assessment Form. We'll review your responses and confirm you've signed up for a division that fits your skills and experience to ensure you have a great first season with us.

Also, please take a moment to fill out your account and player information.  Please add your phone and address to your account and player profiles. While in your account, click on the Players tab, click on your name, and ensure all the fields - including t-shirt size - are complete and correct.

Visit How to Update Your Account & Player Profile and follow the steps to make sure your info is correct.

Before the Season Starts

Check out our Adult Hockey League FAQ for more details and answers to other questions you might have.

Your Division Manager or Captain will email you about a week before your first game with more information about your team and schedule. Once teams are finalized, you'll see that in My Games on the website.

My Games

Your "My Games" page on the website has all the information you'll need each season - your schedule and which color jersey your team will wear each week.

During the Season

Attendance Emails

Each week, you'll receive an email asking you to confirm your attendance. Please respond to this email each week so your captain knows if you'll be playing. Simply click on either "Yes, I will attend this game" or "No, I cannot attend this game."

Your First Game

Make sure you get to the locker room early enough to get changed and meet your teammates. Your captain will go through positions and where you'll play.

For those new to coed adult sports, here’s what to expect in a coed locker room:

  • All locker rooms are coed. Everyone shares the same space, so please be respectful and mindful of those around you. No nudity. Please don't fully undress in the shared locker room.
  • If you need to fully change, find a private space: a bathroom stall, an individual changing room, or another area away from the group.

Read Co-Ed Locker Room Etiquette: How to Keep It Fun, Friendly & Social for more details.

Regular Season vs Playoff Games

In your "My Games" dashboard, the first 9 weeks of regular-season games will be assigned. Note that you'll play two more games - Week 10 is Playoffs and Week 11 is the Championship game. Those games will be set following the Week 9 games and will be based on standings. Please ask your captain if you have any questions about the last two games of the season.

Your captain and division manager will be able to answer questions during the season.
